You do NOT need to book a stall site as there is always plenty of room for casual vendors. The stall fee is about $20 if I remember correctly and there are trestle tables for rent for $7 dollars each.
Show up around 5am to start setting up, but I've shown up at 6am before and they've let me in. When you get there and organizer will normally standing around the gate to show people to available spots. If you can see one just ask around. People there are very friendly and will point you in the right direction. Happy selling!
